Red Berry Editions was founded in 2008 by Marie C. Dern and Jane M. Downs. Red Berry Editions is dedicated to collaborating with writers and visual artists who want to have distinguished books to show their work to best advantage.  We publish trade books, art catalogues, chapbooks and deluxe books in large or small editions.  We produce books from an idea to a beautiful, bound volume, from design to editing, typesetting, printing and binding.  No job too small, and no job too large.

Jane Downs retired from the University of California Press in 2008.  She is co-editor of Cloud View Poets, An Anthology, published in 2005.  Her poems have received first place in contests sponsored by Artists Embassy and Tide Pool.  Her work appears in literary journals including the Ashville Poetry Review, North American Review and Field Magazine; and her novel, The Sleeping Wall, was first runner up in the Chiasma Press novel competition.

Marie Dern began Jungle Garden Press in 1974.  She has published hand-made books since then.  The books are in small editions, are letterpress printed and bound by hand.  Her books are included in many public and private collections.
