An accordian book containing two essays and 10 photographs of Helen Stanley's exquisite paintings. The shaped paintings were inspired by altars along the roadways of the Southwest. Stanley adopted the form for her own tributes, A Muse, The Laundress, Mother's Roses, and included them in her own brilliant iconography.
